England: Banned for under-18sWales, Scotland, NI: Not checked yet
Not in England. It's a criminal offence to give Botox, or a cosmetic filler injection, to anyone under 18 in England. Doctors, and some health professionals working under a doctor's directions, have a defence. We haven't checked the rules in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland yet.

Banned for under-18s
It's an offence to give botulinum toxin, or a filler by injection for a cosmetic purpose, to someone under 18. Registered doctors have a defence, and so do registered nurses, dentists and certain pharmacists acting on a doctor's directions. There's also a defence where the practitioner took reasonable steps to check age and reasonably believed the person was 18 or over.

Coming up in England
A government consultation, open from 21 October 2026 to 13 January 2027, proposes that high-risk injectables, lasers and cosmetic surgery in England should only be done by named healthcare professionals, and only on people aged 18 and over, with exceptions for NHS care and medical treatment. These are proposals, not law yet.
What this doesn't tell you
This page covers who can lawfully be treated. It doesn't cover whether a practitioner is qualified or insured, so ask them before booking.
